This new commitment will also ensure that they stay as the UK and Ireland's biggest provider of women's sports. The three new announcements are as follows, England's Netball, 2013 Sports Women of the Year Awards and Sportswoman.

The new England's Netball deal ensures that for the next three years all twelve of the Netball Super league and all England's international home games will be exclusively aired on sky. Coverage starts on Sunday 22nd of September with the first match in a set of three against the woman's South African team. The broadcasting of Women's Netball will then recommence in early 2014 with the start of the Netball Superleague. Next year promises many games due to all eight teams from the UK being involved within the tournament. The 2013 Sports Woman of the Year Awards will now be aired on Sky channels. Sky now have exclusive partnership and coverage of the renowned awards ceremony which is now in its 26th year. This ceremony recognises the efforts of the females within their particular sporting category. Athletes, coaches, volunteers and members on administrative staff are all recognised and praised for their individual effort. Last year is was London 2012 heptathlete winner Jessica Ennis-Hill, more commonly known as Jessica Ennis, who won the main prize for her fantastic efforts in the London Olympics. Sportswoman is a new television show to be shown on sports channels, this new show will last thirty minutes and will include detailed analysis, views and news of all the latest development within the female sporting community. This new show will be broadcast for the first time on Tuesday 24th of September and will include exclusive interviews with athletes and in-depth knowledge of retired athletes. This show will also be available on Sky's On Demand service which can be watched online, on the Sky Go app or your sky set top box. These new additions to Sky's arsenal will complement their unrivalled supply of female sports. This year alone cricket, football, tennis, netball and swimming have all been broadcast on all of the Sky Sports channels, some events have even been given special attention on the Sky Sports news channel.
